Account & Data Deletion

Aetherglyph has no accounts and no sign-in. Your identity is a random, anonymous identifier stored only on your device. Because there is no account, deletion is simple and mostly under your direct control.

1. Delete everything on your device

In the app, open Settings → Delete my data. This immediately erases from this device:

• your anonymous identifier,
• your optional display name,
• your saved settings and configured service URL,
• any saved reconnect token for an in-progress duel,
• your solo progress: tutorial & campaign completion, gesture calibration, mastery medals, secret-spell clues and discoveries, per-spell guide stages, Practice vs AI settings and difficulty results, and local coaching statistics (stored under aeg.solo.v1).

Solo tutorial progress never leaves your device — it is stored only in local storage and is never uploaded. Uninstalling the app also removes all of this local data.

2. Delete your server-side rating record

Ranked online play stores a numeric skill rating and match result tied to your anonymous identifier on the game service. To request deletion of that record:

1. Before deleting local data, note your anonymous identifier (Settings shows it, or it is the aeth-client-id value in local storage).
2. Email rocmat21@gmail.com with the subject “Aetherglyph data deletion” and include that identifier.
3. The associated rating/result record will be deleted within 30 days. Short-lived connection and security logs expire automatically within 30 days.

We can only match a deletion request to a record via the anonymous identifier, so please capture it before wiping local data.

What is retained

Nothing that identifies you personally is retained. No name, email, or account is required to play. We keep no advertising or analytics profiles.
